License requests
Licensed-to display (desktop app sidebar)
Choose exactly what appears in the brand-coloured block at the bottom-left of the BPV4 app. Changes sync to every device the next time it validates.
Global fields (pushed to all apps)
Field names here are published to every app install. App users (with rights) can add them to their field-mapping list, so templates exported from one install import cleanly into another. Devices pick these up on their next validate.

Deactivation reasons
Customer downloads
Files here appear in the customer portal → Downloads for every signed-in customer, newest first. At most 3 are offered at a time. Each download link works for 10 minutes and only for a signed-in customer.
Upload a file
The file you choose stays available until the new one has finished uploading.
Support contact
When something goes wrong, users see only a short message and an error number, followed by: “Please check your license, or contact the Ainex team at ….” Apps pick up a new address at their next licence check.
Error codes
What each number means: the plain message users see, the technical cause and
the fix. The full technical detail of each occurrence is in the app's log on that PC
(%USERPROFILE%\BarcodeLogs\barcode_<date>.log) - search for Error <number>.
Application version (global)
Every release adds 0.01 to the version. When you publish, every installed app learns the new version on its next licence check and shows "update available". Publishing never replaces the update package: build that first with Claude, then publish.
History
Security watch
Once a day the portal checks the packages below against the public OSV.dev vulnerability database. A new finding emails you a ready-made prompt for a fix release. This watches known vulnerabilities in the listed packages; it does not certify an application against every standard.
Get your exact list by running python tools/security_audit.py --deps on the build PC.
Developer logins (desktop app)
People who sign in to the BPV4 desktop app as developers. They use their email and password through the normal sign-in and the normal licence check — nothing is built into the app any more. They have nothing to do with this portal's sign-in. No email is sent when you create a login - you hand the sign-in details to the developer yourself.
Domain
One setting drives every address the server builds (sign-up links, email sender, update host). Installed apps are told the new address automatically on their next licence check.
Email delivery (why mail goes to spam)
Checks your sending domain's DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), your email provider's domain verification and tracking settings, and tells you the exact records to add.
